Coastal cleanup in the Piraeus zone
A volunteer team worked along a Piraeus coastal point for light cleanup, sorting, and recording needs for future actions.
The action was organized as a practical coastal cleanup with small volunteer teams, gloves, and collection bags. The team worked on an accessible part of the coastal zone, without entering unsafe points and without publicly exposing private individuals or personal details.
How it took place
- A short volunteer briefing before starting.
- Light waste collection in safe areas.
- Material sorting where possible.
- Notes for improving future coastal actions.
The action supports a more consistent volunteer program in public spaces, with respect for competent authorities and participant safety.
